Description:
As a Treasure Coast Early Steps provider in Palm Beach Couty, Icbeyond Children & Family offers parent coaching and support in the natural environment to children ages birth to 3 who have been identified with a developmental delay and/or other disabilities.
Qualifications and Skills and Experience.

The ITDS works primarily with parents and caregivers coaching them to support their child's development.

Extensive knowledge of child development is required and knowledge of adult learning and coaching is preferred.

Training is offered and new ITDS providers will receive ongoing support.

Candidate must have a minimum of 1-year of direct hands-on experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays ranging in ages birth up to 5 years old.

Candidates must have a degree in Early Childhood special education, Pre-K Special Education, Early Childhood education, communication sciences, social work, psychology or closely related field and extensive knowledge of early childhood development.

Candidates with an out of field degree must have a minimum of 5-years experience working hands-on with special needs children birth to 5 years of age.

Candidates must complete Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist Certification.

The ability to work as a team member and to communicate effectively with people.

Willingness to travel within the county as services are delivered in the child's natural environment.

Must have a valid driver's license and updated vehicle insurance is required.
